 DURANGO AREA TRIPS

Custom day or multi-day trips designed for locals or visitors who are in town for a few days and would enjoy a day or more of photographic instruction and guidance to nearby locations are offered spring through fall.  Most of these would focus on mountain scenery, ghost-towns, and the Durango & Silverton Narrow-Gauge train, or ancient Anasazi ruins like Chaco Canyon, Hovenweep, or the Ute Mountain Tribal Park, which is adjacent to Mesa Verde National Park. Trips of 2-3 days are available for those wanting to visit the Moab area, including Arches National Park, Dead Horse Point, the Islands-In-The-Sky region of Canyonlands, Fisher Towers, and other scenic locations near Moab.  Monument Valley and Canyon de Chelly can also be done as 2-3 day trips.

Refer to information on my regularly scheduled week-long trips and frequently asked questions for more insight as to what you could expect on these shorter trips.
