Arches National Park offers some of the most outstanding scenery and photographic opportunities in the southwest. Included are other fantastic photographic locations such as Deadhorse Point, Fisher Towers, the Colorado River Canyon, and the Islands in the Sky region of Canyonlands NP.

The “Santa Fe National Historic rail” will be the backdrop for this journey through history, nostalgia and "Americana” in this fascinating but lesser known part of our country.
Southwest Colorado offers some of the most spectacular scenery in North America. Combining this with ghost-towns and historic trains provides a continual variety of outstanding photographic opportunities.

On the fall trip we photograph mostly the same places as in the spring trip, but the sun is at a different angle and the lighting is different, so images can vary significantly from one season to another. Golden cottonwoods along the river and streambeds adds another dimension of color to an already colorful land.

Historic Route 66: Amarillo, Texas to the California Border
Join me for a week or two along America’s most famous and most loved highway. This trip, which will follow the Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona sections of the old highway can be taken in one two week trip or two separate week long trips.
