The Four-Corners, where the states of Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico meet, is a magical land where canyons, buttes, mesas, plateaus, rivers and mountains merge into some of the world's most spectacular landscapes. Wander far and you'll find deserted villages of the "Ancient Ones", the Anasazi, whose spirit permeates the land. Today it is home to the Ute, Navajo, Apache, and Pueblo people, as it was home to their ancestors for centuries. It's also home to mountain lion, bear, bighorn sheep, elk, mule deer, eagle, red-tailed hawk, rattlesnake, pinyon pine, juniper and sagebrush.

Join me on a custom adventure designed for photographers who want to experience the Four-Corners in a unique and more intimate way. Trips to the better-known places such as Monument Valley, Canyon de Chelly, Arches and Canyonlands National Parks are always an option. However, you may want to explore and photograph some of the more isolated areas in the lands of the Ute and the Navajo accompanied by a native guide, wander in secluded canyons which hide villages of the ancient Anasazi, visit some of the most amazing rock art sites in North America, photograph the Navajo people in the depths of spectacular Canyon de Chelly, hike with llamas through fields of wildflowers below 14,000 foot snow-covered peaks in the majestic San Juan Mountains, or immerse yourself in the nostalgia and photographic experiences along historic Route 66 or some of the ghost towns of the southwest.

Branson Reynolds' 30 years of studying, exploring, and photographing the southwest, along with his professional work in the fields of zoology and archaeology, provide a combination of knowledge and experience that will guarantee you a uniaque trip whatever your interests.

The itinerary is up to you. I'll work with you in designing a trip that meets your specific interests and schedule, and that will provide you with the best possible opportunities to create the kinds of images you envision. Regardless of your specific goals and interests, you'll return home with outstanding photographs, and with a deeper appreciation of and connection to this enchanted land.

FEES FOR CUSTOM WORKSHOPS

LANDSCAPES
The cost of a tour where there emphasis is on landscape photography is $350/day for one person, and an additional $100/day for each additional person up to a maximum of six people. A days shooting schedule is up to the client, but the days fee will cover our services from sunrise til sunset. The daily fee covers photographic instruction and guidance to locations, and assistance in making arrangements for lodging and vehicle rental, if necessary. The client is responsible for his own lodging, transportation, and meals.

NATIVE AMERICANS
The conditions and cost of a trip where we will be using Native American models is the same as a landscape trip with the additional cost of modeling fees. This is negotiable, and we will work out the best possible arrangements between the client and the models.

FIGURE-IN-THE-LANDSCAPE
The Four-Corners offers outstanding opportunities, ranging from desert badlands and canyon country to aspen groves, waterfalls, and ghost towns for incorporating the female form into the landscape. The daily fee for Figure-in-the-Landscape shoots is $400/day for one person, and an additional $150 for each additional person up to 4 people. This includes guidance to the best locations at the right time for shooting, photographic instruction and assistance, the model's fee, and a model release. The model release gives the client the right to use the images for personal use including gallery exhibits, use on a private website, etc. Images may not be used for commercial purposes without prior agreement and arrangements with the model. A day's shooting will be considered to be no more than 8 hrs. total in a 24 hr. period. For trips outside the immediate Durango area, the client must cover food and lodging for the model. Participants are required to provide their own transportation, lodging, and meals.
